Richard Woolfson is a child psychologist, working with children and their families. He is also an author and writes on child and family development for many magazines and newspapers. He has a weekly column in The Herald, dealing with parenting problems and family issues, and appears regularly on radio and television.

Richard runs training workshops for parents and early years professionals. He has written several books on child development and family life. He has provided psychological consultancy to numerous commercial companies, advising on product development, delivering training seminars, participating on media interviews, and contributing to PR strategy. Richard is a Fellow of the British Psychological Society.
